Its cool if u go for the buffet but it lacks in choices. To top it off they dnt itemize ur bill so u end up wondering what was what.
Worst service I've ever had. Waitress took our drink order and food order. Food was delivered and we were never checked up on. My husband and I needed plates to eat our fajitas on. Instead we ate off napkins on our table. We were completely overlooked when time came for our check. Waited way to long. Will never go back. Would not recommend.
This place has authentic Mexican food, great service and for my husband and I, it's a cozy place they treat you like familia. We love it.. we recommend this place to all of our friends. Most of them Cuban, but they love Mexican food.
One oddity, "no iced tea today", strange for a Texas desert town in the middle of summer, and how easy it is to brew tea.
It was just okay. Nothing spectacular. I've had better on the road, but I've had worse too. First off, the drink straws are too short. Once you lose it, you have to drink down the drink enough to retrieve it.
Spent a total of $21, including tip, but I wonder if my money would not have been better spent at the taco truck in the lot next to the restaurant.
Hubby said buffet was passable. I had the taco salad with "fajita chicken". For $10, it should have had a lot more salad. And the chicken was not fajita--not marinated, not seasoned, not grilled. It was a small portion of little shreds of fried chicken meat.
Secondly, I ordered a #32 (fajitas) and it came with all of the sides except sour cream. That costs extra. It was a mix of beef, chicken and shrimp. Shrimp was a bit rubbery, and the beef and chicken were way too dry. Minimal vegetables in the fajita mix but there were fresh sliced tomatoes which was a plus.
Third, I went in by myself, and they served just enough chips and salsa for one person. Perfect proportion. The salsa was not too hot and yet still spicy and tasted great!
The place looks rundown, which would have been OK if the tortillas had been house-made and the food delicious, but not for what we got. I wouldn't stop here again.
