Less than Basic accommodations. Very nice service. Needs paint job new beds cleanliness and provided electronics should work they must look very hard to find the towels once done using them one certainly does not need to be exfoliated
I always use motel 6 when I travel as you readily accept pets. I have been impressed with your friendly staff, good prices, and upgrades to your rooms. The buildings are always nicely maintained and your prices are really good. Fort Stockton was a big disappointment. Yes it was refurbished but not well tended to. The outside grounds were not taken care of, there was trash all over the place. The overall condition of the building was not great. Generally it was a mess and for the weekend rate of $75.00 it was a real disappointment. The bigger deal is that I now no longer trust your brand and will be looking for other places to stay . I may use you again but only if I can be sure, from the web photos, I am not getting a crappy motel 6 instead of a decent one. It's a shame. PS I also had to fix the TV myself as the wires were loose and there was no reception.

I can not believe this type of facility is under the purview of Motel 6! I will be checking my credit card site carefully to see the refund is actually processed and the amount ($77.28) is returned to my card. I would expect corporate would also get involved in this as well. In any case, I will pursue this refund to its satisfactory completion, even to obtaining legal services if necessary.
I reserved a first floor room over the phone because I am traveling cross country on a bicycle with gear. When I arrived the clerk reported that there were no first floor rooms left and I would have to go to the second floor, and that my reservation did not indicate first floor, only non smoking. During check in another guest asked about the laundry and the clerk said she did not think it had been repaired, that nothing works here. I found several hairs in the room and a couple of dead bugs. This was a very busy Motel 6 with a number of men working in the area filling up the motel. There was a line outside the front desk during much of the evening. Normally, I am pleased with my experience with Motel 6, this was a below average experience for the price, and I will seek other options if I am ever back in the area.
Normal reception. Lobby door handle came off (sign said "pull"). Room was clean. TV worked fine. Bed comfy. No hot water in sink. Nice big tub. One of the big towels was torn. Sandra the cleaning lady, and the tall gentleman working with her are the nicest, hardest working people! They deserve recognition.
However, when I arrived and received the key, the room was not a Queen bed, but just a double bed in a VERY small room. I complained to the man on the desk and was told “You got what you reserved.” I asserted that your site showed Queen beds or 2 double beds as the only options. A woman directed him to give me another room, but the bed still was only a double sized single bed. I immediately went to the office and said I would not stay in these accommodations. The male clerk filled out a form for my credit card refund and “processed” it in his system, but refused to provide me a copy of the refund paperwork.
