Food was cold and looked as though it had been sitting out for a while. Tables were dirty and there were a lot of flies. Restrooms were not too too bad.
I waited 20 minutes for a single 5 layer burrito while the employees took their sweet time talking to each other. Two female employees in particular were talking holding orders in their hands repeatedly while a third made sure to push the button on the remote clearing orders so they don’t look bad on their average order time.
The worst customer service I️ have ever had. Guy at the register shouldn’t interact with customers... zero communication skills.
I️ waited over 20 minutes for a burrito and a taco. The workers were socializing, laughing , and horse playing while all the customers stood and watched ... waiting for our meals. I️ kept hearing the guy at the register tell customers “we are out of that” and “we aren’t cooking any more of those tonight” The store closes at 9:30. they had all but 6 tables already with chairs up on them like they were getting ready to close. It was pretty frustrating. I’ve never seen people work so slow, not have any urgency or apologize for the inconvenience of waiting so long.
I drove through Fort Stockton TX at 9:10pm and stopped at the Taco Bell for dinner. When I pulled into Taco Bell at 9:15 I noticed the inside store was closed so decided to go through the drive through. There was a vehicle in front of me that was waiting a 5 minute to order when no other person was in front of them. When I ordered the worker was having a hard time with managing my simple order due to conversating with other employees inside, the fact I could hear the conversation from the loud speaker he was talking through (very unprofessional). When I pulled up to the window to pay for my order there was 2 other vehicles parked in front and to the side of the window waiting for their order which made it hard to pull up and un safe for any other traffic. After paying for my meal the cashier instructed me to pull up to the other vehicles and wait for my food which I did. Now there are 3 vehicles waiting for their order and no other person was in the drive through or inside. I noticed 3 employees of taco bell walk outside in front of me and start rummaging through their cars. While they were out at their cars a stray cat walked up to them, which they picked up and started petting it. The worker inside came out and gave an order of food to a vehicle ahead of me which was quickly declined by the driver due to it being completely incorrect, which I could hear the driver complaining about since I had my windows down waiting for my order. I asked the worker when he approached my vehicle attempting to go back into the store about my order and why we were waiting such a long time he stated “we have a lot of orders to get to”, when there was only 3 people total waiting for orders. I noticed the other workers were taking the stray cat to the window of taco bell and letting it inside while all the workers pet it. This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been to. My food was completely disgusting and watching all of the employees quit what they were doing to pet a stray cat through the service window and then go back to work is to my opinion disgusting worthy of reporting to the health department.
This is the worst Taco Bell I’ve ever been too. They are attempting a weird drive thru system that DOES NOT WORK. It ended up getting clogged up and weird. After we got our food, our taco shells were already soft (meaning they sat there for a while before we got them). My burrito tortilla was STALE. Stale enough that when they tried to fold it, it broke in three places, so beans everywhere. Speaking of beans, they tasted funky. Not like typical Taco Bell beans. So now we know, when driving through Ft Stockton, DO NOT stop at Taco Bell.
