Every time we had out to Big Bend NP, we always stop at Acosta's Tortilla Factory for some burritos and home made tortillas to go. The burrito selection varies by day (the last time we were there in August 2009, Thursday's was Carne Guidada, Friday's was Carne Asado). You can order the current day special or other selections like bean and cheese.
A fantastic stop prior to going to big bend. This has become a delicious tradition.
Tortilla is delicious. Best quesadilla ever.
The real deal is the fresh home made tortillas in flour or corn. Usually there are some bagged up on the counter until they run out but ask if you don't see some - they might make some for you right then.
Nothing fancy, no place to eat on premises (to go only) but I always stop for breakfast on the way down to the park and pick up some tortillas to take back home. Enjoy.
